“Wait, you mean you’re supposed to keep the talented players?”
This is a teaser, and it’s about a misnomer at that. While I’m sure that many of you could fill this in amply, this will be a regular opportunity to flame our winner. Cathartic for fans of the home team, hilarious for rivals.
Becasue of the nature of the compressed schedule in this Olympic season, and because my OCD compels me to choose round numbers, this will actually not be a monthly post, but rather an accounting every 10 games and at other compelling points in the season, such as the Trade Deadline, the All Star game, etc.
So stay frosty, because we’re coming up on 10 games for each team. It’s a benchmark of reflection and assessment in a young season, but valuable points in the standings can be lost while less-than-astute GM’s fail to recongnize real faults with their team and seek to correct them. Flame on!
